Working Bull Pty Ltd
Growing up my parents were heavily involved in the start up of what is now the Woodford Folk Festival (back then Maleny Folk Festival). Every year we also went to the Gympie Music Muster. I guess you can say, music is in my blood. Now in my mid thirties, I am as excited about country music and building the community as I am sure, my parents were at my age! I have two children, who are 10 and 8, and a supportive husband who comes along to these events with me.
Working Bull came about after the stay on a farm in Foster, Victoria. They had a Bull they sent out to “service” all the ladies! Growing up on a ‘Steggles’ Chicken farm, this was my real first introduction to cattle, and I loved it. I thought,
“Geez, throw in the Jim Beam and Country Music and that Bull is living his best life!
hahaha Unfortunately Terry, the man who owned the farm has since passed away. So the name Working Bull was born out of combining my love of country music, admiration or respect for farmers and the country lifestyle.
